Your athlete's stress and nerves are normal but they don't have to be so hard, confusing, overwhelming, and limiting. Learn the tools Olympic athletes use to manage stress and overcome anxiety to help unleash your athlete's best performances when it matters most.
- How to recognize their thoughts and feelings (because most of us are unaware of what we're thinking and the only way to change our thoughts is to first cognize them!)
- What to do to calm down quickly when they feel anxious and stressed before a big event or competition
- How to refocus on what's most important when feeling distracted or overwhelmed
I get it - being a student-athlete is hard! I've been there: trying to manage school and sport obligations while also trying to have a social life and get sleep! I know it can be exhausting, stressful and overwhelming.
Unfortunately, so many athletes struggle with stress, anxiety, and experience mental health challenges but aren't equipped with the tools they need to address those challenges.
I'm here to change that. I believe every athlete can experience more joy, better performances, and less stress in sport and life if they're taught basic mental skills. My mission it to equip student-athletes with the inner resources to meet life's external demands so they can live and play with less stress and anxiety and more confidence and joy.
