Athletes love connecting with other athletes and keeping each other accountable as they strengthen their mental game
Learning is more engaging and impactful when shared with others! By participating in group mental training, athletes can unlock essential mental skills crucial for peak performance and well-being. This collaborative approach not only enhances individual growth but also fosters a supportive environment where teammates and friends can build deeper connections and encourage each other. Together, you'll gain valuable insights, strengthen relationships, and elevate your collective pursuit of excellence.
Just like being part of a sports team, group coaching creates a tight-knit community where athletes can share their journeys. Your athlete will connect with fellow athletes who understand the highs and lows of training and competition. Sharing wins and challenges not only helps your athlete feel less isolated but also fosters a motivating environment where everyone lifts each other up.
For athletes new to mental training or feeling hesitant about it, group coaching it a great place to start! Sharing experiences with fellow athletes helps normalize the journey, reducing intimidation and self-doubt and making it easier to step out of comfort zones and try new techniques. Hearing from others facing similar challenges offers valuable insights, empowering athletes to embrace mental training as a vital tool for enhancing their performance and overall well-being.
Training with a group helps athletes stay on track with their goals. Setting targets alongside fellow athletes provides a natural sense of accountability. Athletes check in with each other, celebrate milestones, and encourage one another when motivation dips. This shared commitment helps athletes push through barriers and stay focused on your performance, making the journey to your goals that much more enjoyable!

- Sam, 17, Swimming
"Kate taught me to be a better swimmer and student! When we started, I hadn't gone a best time in a year. I'd lost motivation, my thoughts were negative and I was always comparing myself to everyone around me. I didn't like swimming anymore. After working with Kate, I learned to make my self-talk positive and focus on my races and not what other girls were doing. I love learning how to be more confident in myself and my swimming!"

Group Coaching is for:
Committed athletes in ALL sports typically age 12 to college-age. Athletes who thrive in the program are driven, curious, open-minded and want to play with confidence and joy. They realize that mental training will complete their training program and want to join other athletes in learning to play and feel their best in and out of sport.
Groups range from 2-6 athletes.

Mental training utilizes techniques based in sports psychology and mindfulness training to address the common performance-inhibiting challenges athletes face in training and competition. As a result, athletes experience more confidence, emotional and physical control and consistent results in and out of sport.
Common focus areas include:
- Improving self-confidence and self-esteem
- Managing competition and performance anxiety
- Balancing school, social, and sport-related responsibilities
- Rebounding from mistakes and disappointing performances
- Overcoming “slumps and plateaus”
- Addressing athlete burnout
- Navigating injuries and returning to sport post-injury
Either! If you'd like to get placed in a group, please note that in the questionaire.
No, athletes do not have to play the same sport or be on the same team.
No; however, groups are most successful when athletes are around the same age (i.e., within two years of each other).
